Dialect Of A Prophecy
I stumbled across Dialect Of A Prophecy when trawling through band pages on FB looking for bands to listen to. Struck by what I heard, I thought I’d give them a little hand and try and get some more people to check out what they’ve got on offer.
Landscape Of Albatros opens fast, heavy yet insanely harmonic, pulling in so many different elements of metal it’s a constant assault on your ear drums. The verse is heavy and fast, the chorus broken down and heavy before building up again into an incredibly harmonic section of varying guitar lines and emotional vocals. I hate to over use the word heavy, but this band are exactly that, and in so many different ways.
As Creators kicks in where the last track left off, heavy guitars and vocals underpinned by a lead line which adds that harmonic edge, the theme of the tracks continues to be nothing less than impressive. Again featuring different sections of differing styles, this track is another example of how accomplished this band are at doing what they do. The instruments all work seamlessly together, backing up the roaring vocals throughout.
My Gun And Your Faith Will Keep Us Alive (Demo) finishes off the selection on the bands FB page, offering yet more evidence that this band know what they’re doing. Here you can hear the bands influences coming through in the way they play, the way the song is put together ad how they all work together as a band. At times jumpy, other times dark and heavy, this track sums up everything so far.
Speaking to the band, they’ve said they’re going to be recording some more tracks soon to get posted and I for one am looking forward to hearing what’s on offer. At times I began to question whether some of the vocal lines worked in the tracks, but soon realised it was purely me questioning the sections of the track. There are so many elements within this band that these three tracks purely act as a taster for what will soon be their crowning glory I’m sure.
Bring them on guys because I want to hear more!
