Doommantia Vol 1
Here at Loud-Stuff we believe in a good cause, so when we were informed of a release put together to benefit a musician, we were interested in seeing what was going on. Doommantia Volume 1 has been set up to raise money for Ed Barnard of Doommantia.com. Unfortunately, Ed suffered 2 heart attacks and, as a result of huge medical bills, is now also homeless. The Doommantia site has helped thousands of people discover new bands, helped bands get their music out there, and has been a solid force to be reckoned with on the music press scene. As such, this is a cause which is pretty close to our hearts.
Testament to the respect that people hold for Doommantia.com is the record on offer here. Featuring 39 bands from all over the world and a total of over 4 hours of music, this $7 purchase is a bargain! All of the proceeds will go towards getting Ed back on his feet, and will help to keep Doommantia alive – so what are you waiting for?
Things like this can happen to anyone of us, and I’d like to think that if it were to happen to me, people would help out in someway. Think about $7 and what it would buy you – honestly, not a lot. So for 39 bands, over 4 hours of music and some awesome artwork donated by Coby Ellison – your $7 is not only getting you a hell of a lot, but is also going to help this cause.
I know I’ll be getting a copy.
