Metaprism
Silence is broken in Bournemouth by five metal heads that formed to become Metaprism.
Previously featuring in metal bands such as Silent Prophecy and Furyborn, Metaprism certainly deliver an originally fresh yet hard hitting sound in their debut EP. The clear, crisp vocals from Theresa Smith and harsh vocals from Jut Tabor compliment each other very well; their sounds reminds of Swedish metal band Amaranthe where there is a similar vocal set up.
As far as the songs are concerned, there are some good songs on the EP, my personal favourite track is Even The Lights, I find this introduces the band's music very well to listeners. My only criticism about Metaprism is that there is not a huge variety within the music on their EP, it would be interesting to hear a ballad like track in the future.
Overall not a bad debut EP, look forward to hearing more about them in the future. Their EP is available on Amazon.
