Sintax - Splendid Isolation
We were recently contacted by Sintax about their latest single, Splendid Isolation. Not giving anything away on their Facebook page, I figured I’d let the music do the talking about what these guys are up to!
From the opening of Splendid Isolation one thing is clear, this is some heavy stuff! Raw and powerful from the off, guttural vocals bombard you from every direction whilst rolling drums hammer away in the background and the bass matches everything going on. Distorted and dark, this isn’t music which is going to chill you out, it’s the sort of thing which is going to turn a venue into a pit of pure destruction, destroying everything in its path and leaving towns as nothing but dust. Sounding akin to the likes of Bury Your Dead, what I like most is the rolling drums, they add a sense of pace to things and make this the sort of track which is going to get you moving and not let you stop until the moment the track comes to a close!
If you want power and distortion then this is for you, this is the sort of music which is going to kill your nan, eat your dog and leave you a quivering heap in the corner of the room hoping that someone comes to rescue you – it’s awesome! For a band I’ve not heard of before, and one I know nothing about, I’m loving the music they’re producing so will make it my mission to convert the world to their ways, so get on board, check out Sintax and bow down to their almighty riffage of destruction!
