Sneeze - I'm Going to Kill Myself

Picture
Boston garage rockers Sneeze give the ears a refreshing sound via their vintage sounding debut album I’m Going To Kill Myself.

The first thing you hear on this album is a good old school guitar riff that entices the listener into finding out more about what the band consist of. You can hear some old school influences from bands such as The Ramones and Garbage within tracks such as Park Her Road and title track I’m Going to Kill Myself. The album is interesting in terms of how it’s the sort of album you could play in the background but at the same time it grabs your attention.

An amazing aspect about the album is how the songs interlink smoothly together as they changeover from one to the next. This is a rare aspect that isn’t found on many albums now so it is a great original feature.  A track that sticks out the album progresses is Quit S******, as well as a catchy title it also has a memorable melody and tune. The track Brainage Pipe has a similar sound to Foo Fighters song Monkey Wrench which I liked very much.

Overall, a fantastic album; it demonstrates why they have been described as the band to watch out for this year. Just in time for the summer!

Stand Out tracks:  Quit S*******, Brainage Pipe and Crumb

For fans of The Ramones and Foo Fighters
