Streetfight Silence
So we were recently sent through details of the new single, We Must All Learn, from Street Fight Silence. With a mass of touring ahead this year to support the single and their new album due out in September, I figured it was only right I check out what this Berkshire/London unit had on offer for us!
Opening with a catchy and powerful guitar line over some pounding drums, the track immediately gets off to an upbeat and fast paced start, immediately suggesting that this is a band that are going to have to be seen to be fully appreciated. Moving into a melodic approach for the main elements of the track, the mix seems to grow around you, slowly enveloping you in the sound of the band and showing that proper straight down the line upbeat rock is still out there and still doing well. Throw in a catchy chorus and what you’ve got here is a track which is sure to be an anthem in the waiting, the sort of track which is going to remind you why you started listening to rock music, get you singing along, and make you forget about any issues which you might have had before you hit play.
I’m going to avoid drawing comparisons here as I feel that the guys in Street Fight Silence need to stand alone and let their music speak for itself. This is upbeat, catchy, powerful, emotional and basically, damned good throughout! There’s no frills or extras which aren’t needed, resulting in a track which does what it says on the tin, provides a straight up rock track which people are going to love.
