These Hearts
Victory Records have sent some pretty good bands to be reviewed and These Hearts are another one of those, they combine so many different subgenres of metal into one album titled Yours To Take.
The first thing I notice within These Hearts regarding their music is their flawless ability to combine brutal screams with clean, crisp harmonies; this is quite a complex aspect to pull off so well and they manage to make it sound remarkable. Slick guitar solos, fantastic combinations of vocals and fantastic tunes are the ideal package for a great start for a lift up the music ladder.
My personal favourite tracks on the album are Miserable, Undecided Story and LOTR: Miserable is the single of their album at the moment, it really shows of the flawless quality of harsh vocals and clean harmonies.
Undecided Story contains quite a dark story that is told via an epic style that is seen in 30 Seconds of Mars Kings and Queens which I loved about this track.
I like how LOTR starts off, it is the stand out song that you can immediately tell what it is within the first few seconds. I can also see this being a driving anthem too.
Their energy and passion within the music throughout the album is admirable, if the energy is clear on the album I can just imagine the high level of both aspects in their live shows.
Overall a fantastic new album, it is available in outlets 9th July (next Tuesday). They are definitely a band to be looking out for!
Stand out tracks: Miserable, Undecided Story and LOTR
