Tomorrow We Radio - NEW STUFF!
NEW TRACK! Here’s an update from Tomorrow We Radio. The guys have been working hard and have this new track available for you all to feast upon! The track is called Cameron, a pulsating opening crashes into your ear drums, relentlessly pounding at them, momentarily dazing you. As you find your feet again, you begin to appreciate the dynamic and catchy guitar riff that has punk rock written all over it. The variations in tempo allow you time to appreciate the immensely intense drum beat that is just as catchy as the riffs. The vocals add volume to the track and are on show from pretty much the first beat. They are strong and sound incredible, taking the track to a new level allowing the riffs and beats to entertain at will. In my eyes the band has built on the success they had with the previous tracks and can consider this a great comeback!
Tomorrow We Radio
Lee from Tomorrow We Radio got in contact asking if I could listen to listen to the stuff his band is producing. The band consists of five guys from York, sending out an alternative rock dish. I took a look at the guys Facebook page and it was clear to see their style fits in with us so I sampled the four tracks on show and this is what I thought.
A scratchy guitar solo sets the ball rolling and is soon accompanied by a pumping drum beat. The tempo is fairly timid; however it works well, setting the tone and the foundations for the rest of the track. The vocals kick in adding a new found depth; they are raw, but easy on the ears. The bands influences ooze out of this track, such as Kids In Glass Houses. Although there are similarities, this band still has their own identity and put they own mark down. The tempo picks up slightly as the track progresses. The track finishes with the drums and guitars working in tandem, in a start/stop fashion.
All You Said is notably heavier than the previous track, however there's still a mellow tempo to the track. However the start of the track is pretty frantic, with the drums and guitars dueling for center stage. The addition of the vocals to the frame slows everything down. There’s a dark feel to the track and the mood is eerie. The vocals contribute towards this and it’s an aspect of the track I liked, as the lyrics are heartfelt and it’s easy to follow along. When the chorus comes around the tempo picks up again, to more like the beginning of the track. The vocals also hit home harder and this adds a new dimension that works well.
Sunlight was the next track I listened to and this has the most plays out of all of the tracks on the page. Rolling drums instantly take a hold of you, there's a punchier, more upbeat feel to the track and I found myself nodding away from the start. The vocals have an added bite to them and I can see why this is a favourite amongst the bands followers. If I’m honest this was my favourite track as well, the combination of the quicker guitar riffs, awesome drum beat and the perfect vocals for this kinda track all join together to make a pretty awesome mixture. This is a feel good song and would love to be live at one of the bands gigs to hear this!
The last track I came to was Dead Streets. Another lively drum roll starts proceedings, and it seems this track is starting off where the last one finished. The lyrics are soon introduced giving the track a bit of volume. The tempo stays fast paced throughout, changing occasionally, keeping you on your toes. As I said before the vocals are easy on the ear and the tune is catchy. This is another feel good track, I like the way the tempo slows right down, with just gentle tapping on the drums. There’s even a slight change in the vocals to accompany the change. The tempo picks up once again to end the track and leave you gasping for breath.
All in all I really enjoyed listening to this band. The sounds they are throwing out are fresh and there’s clearly a lot of talent coursing through the guys. I hope to hear more from these guys very soon!
