1). Thanks for taking the time to answer some questions for the site guys, firstly, who are the people behind Bright Life Music?
My name is L.A. Bright and I am the CEO/founder of Bright Life Music together with our producer Joshua Rumer from Invengo Productions. 2). When did you all get together to form the company? Bright Life Music started in mid 2011 when I had the idea to open a music outlet for thriving artists who can contribute to the industry on a long term basis. 3). Where did the idea for the company come from? Well, not only is it my name, but it is a way of life. We believe people should live an enlightened existence through music that makes you feel good. We know that music can enhance your lifestyle and we aim to be a big part of that in the future. 4). You say that Bright Life is about working with artists to prepare them for the changing world of music in the digital age, what sort of thing does this involve? Simplicity at it's best with a sound that encompasses the entire globe. We are not genre specific, therefore, we are reaching out to a very broad and diverse audience. This is crucial in today's fastidious listening market and even more so with the digital age being in full effect. 5). Another thing that you say is that you’re changing the way music is felt and heard in the industry today – how so? We demand that the music be simple enough for all to enjoy while maintaining a highly concentrated level of integrity. It is an art form we feel has gotten lost over the years and we are standing firm on bringing it back. 6). Record companies have suggested that the CD format of music could well be withdrawn from production in the near future, is this something which you see as a problem for upcoming artists? No, not at all. If anything it will help artists that cannot otherwise afford to have a mass of physical product printed up. 7). Moving forwards, what are your plans for the upcoming year? Most assuredly, producing and dropping fantastic music. We will be touring our artists this year and have a lot of placement opportunities lined up. 8). You’re based over in LA right now, but are there any plans to expand or go international? Bright Life Music is universal. We are making plans to move into the European markets in early summer as well as Asia. The more people we can reach with our message the happier everyone will be. 9). Working with the likes of Invengo Records, you must have worked with quite a few artists so far, but have there been any which have really stood out to you as up and coming ones to look out for? Emaculent, Scotislate, Dune Tran, Meekos and Me, there are a great deal of artists we are currently trying to asset at this time so you will have to stay tuned to see what we have to offer the industry this year. We can promise that it will make you feel good all over. 10). People are bound to be interested in the work you do, where can they find out more? BRIGHTLIFEMUSIC.COM 11). What about getting in touch if they feel they want to work with you guys? They can contact me at [email protected], our producer Joshua Rumer at [email protected] or our publicist Derek Upton at [email protected] 12). Are there any particular genres or styles of music you prefer to work with or are you open to anything? Since we are universal we cater to all genres of music that can make you feel good. We believe that the best genre of music is originality coupled with quality. We are making solid contributions to the music industry. 13). Finally, if you could describe your message in a final summary, how would you want people to describe what it is you do? What don't we do? We find the talent, provide them with what they need to move forward then tell the world about what we did. Brightlife is a movement of how music can feel. We want to touch as many lives as possible through this amazing gift of music throughout the universe while continuously redefining the business models of projects around the globe.
