Invengo Records

Since setting up Loud-Stuff, we've built up a good relationship with the guys at Los Angeles based Invengo Records, and as such, we thought it only right to tell the world a little something about them!
Invengo Records started in the year 1998 as a rock opera project in central Florida. The project jaunted around the states before relocating to Los Angeles in early 2001. From there Joshua Rumer produced their first professional album scheduled for non-release and someone heard it, thus calling and asking if he would produce their album. That kid went on to touring and selling albums then someone else called asking if he would do their record. This has been happening ever since which is testament to the professional sound these guys can achieve with their artists.Key peopleKey people are:Joshua RumerDerek Upton,A few assistants, Publishing people, Web designers, Videographers, Photographers (And a ton of awesome session artists.)

Key people
Key people are: Joshua Rumer Derek Upton (A few assistants) Publishing people Web designers Videographers Photographers (And a ton of awesome session artists.) As a record company goes, there are only a select group of people working at Invengo Records meaning the service you receive is going to be personal and to the best of their abilities. |
Speaking to Joshua at Invengo about their outlook on the industry, he says: 'We take a take a project from the ground to the atmospheric level. From the sonic brand to the actual images. We make sure the songs are well written, properly arranged, passionately performed and surgically mixed for the main stream market without compromising the bands integrity. We assist with bookings, publicity and shopping upon completion. That is why we are selective about who we work with with. Just because you can afford to work with us does not mean we will accept you as a client. We have the future in mind before we allow someone come to the studio' As such, if you are lucky enough to work with Joshua and Derek at Invengo then you can be assured that you are going to be getting a top notch record at the end of the project.
Oh, and if you're worried about them being based in LA - check out the response Joshua had to that: ' Los angeles. we travel around the world to work with people who cant come to us' - so these guys are dedicated to the cause if they believe there's something there.
To give you an idea of the sort of sound which can be achieved working with Invengo Records, you only need to look at the artists currently represented by them:
Dune Tran
Meekos and Me
Scotislate
All of the above are represented by Invengo Records (amongst others), click on the links above to check out their sound to see for yourself.

As well as working with artists to put together records, Invengo are also partnered with Bright Life Music, a company dedicated to working with artists in the digital age and preparing them for new technologies and changing the way that music is felt and heard across the breadth of the industry. We're going to have more details about Bright Life coming soon so be sure to keep an eye out for them.
Now, if you're interested in working with Invengo (which I'm sure you must be by now) then you'll want to know how to contact them. You can email Derek Upton (A&R) on [email protected] with your details to see what they can do to help out.
