Faltered
Silence is broken in Northern Wales as alternative rock duo Faltered are preparing to release their mini album to the nation!
The first thing that is heard on the album is the very funky guitar riffs and solos; these then smoothly transform into heavy distorted guitars. Influences from nineties rock Red Hot Chili Peppers and Nirvana can be heard in the music yet there is a hint of modern influences such as Biffy Clyro. The quirky mix of guitar riffs, solos and vocals is the perfect way to capture the listener’s attention to hear something new.
For a first mini album there is an interesting selection of tracks; for instance in the song Please Don’t Take This The Wrong Way. Placing a saxophone in the song, was an intriguing choice and it marks their individual sound just a little bit more.
Overall an interesting mini album, from the hard-hitting Fortune Favours the Needy to the heartfelt Thanks A Million they are most certainly a band to be looking out for.
This album will hit digital outlets on 2nd September 2013; in the meantime check them out on Facebook and Twitter.
Stand out tracks: Pulled Over, Please Don’t Take This The Wrong Way and Thanks A Million
For fans of Biffy Clyro and Nirvana
