Who are we then?
Julia - Music Reviewer
Favourite band: Slipknot.
Best Ever Gig: Slipknot at Sonisphere Knebworth 2011.
Favourite Films: Beetlejuice, The Shining, House of 1000 Corpses, The Devil’s Rejects.
Favourite Quote: “Happiness is relative. It's the little things. It's being able to sleep in, it's the feeling after a great gig, having some drinks with some friends, driving your car aimlessly with no real destination. I think happiness is something that doesn't really hang around that much. A lot of people are more miserable than they are happy, and I think it's because they're miserable that the happiness matters so much.” – Corey Taylor.
Hi, I’m Julia. I’m from the Midlands, but I currently live in the South of England due to university. For as long as I can remember I’ve always wanted to be a music journalist as it combines my two favourite things: writing and music. I go to concerts and festivals as often as possible as I love live music.
My first ever concert was Blue when I was really young, and since then I’ve seen hundreds of bands, from Avril Lavigne to Machine Head. I love many different genres of music and when my iPod is on shuffle it usually goes from hip-hop to death metal.
My other interests include reading, socialising with my friends and travelling.
