Teenage Casket Company
Teenage Casket Company from Nottingham describe themselves as hard hitting pop rock tunes and the most explosive live show you’re ever likely to see, which sounds pretty damned promising! Unable to comment on the live show for now, I’ll suffice with the music!
Best Friend is My Radio is a pure pop rock track, sounding akin to the likes of Lit as it powers up, this is a track which you’ll want to be played as someone shows the film of your life. Catchy doesn’t describe this track, it gets in your head and you’ll be humming it for hours afterwards – it’s quite simply an anthem in the waiting. Using layered vocals, a solid drum beat and a lead guitar line which drives the track, it continues to make you think of moments gone by, happy times and just generally want to have a damned good time! Maybe I’ve been listening to a lot of metal of late, but this sounds so refreshing that as soon as I heard this track I wanted to share it with everyone I know who likes this sort of music, it’s awesome. I promise after hearing it a few times you too will be singing along that your best friend is your radio.
There’s only the one track on the bands Bandpage but there are other tracks on their music section, my advice is to check them out, open a beer and sit back and enjoy. I am going to have to go and check these guys out live just to see what their live show is like, if they can match this recording then I imagine it’ll be quite something to behold!
