1). What are the names of your members?
Remi – guitars/backing vocals Scott – vocals Thom – bass/backing vocals Nick – drums 2). When did you all get together? The current line-up was formed in January 2012, but the band has undergone many line-up changes since 2009. 3). How did you all meet? Bristol metal scene is not very big, when we lost a bassist and a drummer in 2011, we asked around our friends and very soon Nick and Thom showed interest in joining Bonemud. This is by mile the best line-up we have ever had. 4). How would you describe your music? We are most commonly associated with the rapcore and nu-metal scenes, however pigeonholing us is not so easy as our influences are running the full gamut of music genres, ranging from metal, hard-core, rock, punk to rap and even some reggae. 5). Who are your major influences? We all like metal music, so apart from the obvious: Lamb of God, Korn, Pantera, RATM, Machine Head, Sepultura, etc. we love stuff like Michael Jackson, Massive Attack, Queen, we even once all expressed fondness towards the music of Backstreet Boys 6). Complete the sentence: One day as a band we hope to… One day as a band we hope to have a world tour to visit places like Japan, Brazil and USA…that would be awesome. 7). Why should people listen to your music? Apart from being a metal band enjoying a mosh pit in front of the stage, we have a jumpy and bouncy feel to our music. 8). What are your plans for the upcoming year? We plan to make a video for ‘Lil Whore’ in December and next year we want to gig as much as possible, possibly go in the studio to record our 2nd album, getting signed to a decent label would be awesome as well. 9). What albums/EP’s have you released so far and where can people get hold of them? We released our debut album ‘TOKOLOSHE’ in 2011 it’s available in most good music stores. Our EP ‘CHALLENGE ACCEPTED’ should be available to download in December this year. 10). Finally – say something profound that will make everyone think: MUSIC IS LIKE SEX: IF THERE IS NO PASSION IN IT, YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG!
